不再神秘:国内首款物理卡进入评测室!
<P> 近期被炒得沸沸扬扬的物理加速卡终于进入到国内市场了，目前只有华硕和美国BFG两家授权生产物理加速卡，nVIDIA与ATI的物理加速卡还没有成型。关于物理加速卡的作用，我们不久前已经专门讨论过了，近日太平洋评测室收到了BFG测试样卡，目前已经在亚洲地区上市，包括中国大陆，香港，韩国，日本等，由知名显卡品牌影驰代理。</P><P> 简单来说，独立的物理卡要比CPU和GPU模拟物理运算更快更专业，先前Ageia用PhysX物理卡展示了一款8人对战游戏，游戏中有数百个目标你可以把它们移动、毁灭，每一个物体的位置、外型并不是事先设计好，而是实时运算出来的。同时计算数千个物体的活动轨迹和破碎画面，过去是CPU和显卡所无法负担的。</P>

<P> BFG的物理加速卡采用32位的PCI 2.3接口，加速卡带有128MB GDDR3显存（128位），最高可以在1秒内完成200亿条指令处理，5.3亿次球体碰撞处理或53.3万次复杂物体碰撞场景的处理。加速卡上还带有一个四针的外接电源接口，用来满足加速卡全速工作的需要。</P>

<P> 上图就是AGEIA PhysX处理器，采用了台积电生产的PPU，集成了125M晶体管，运行频率暂时未知，核心大小为182平方毫米。与NVIDIA最近的G71非常相近（G71为196平方毫米）。物理卡的最主要的特点是使游戏中的一些爆炸或者撞击所引起的烟尘，碎片等更加真实，可以提供一些不可预知的特效，这对于微风拂过繁茂的树叶、浓密的烟雾翻腾等效果有出色的表现效果。关于物理卡的测试我们稍后就为大家献上。</P>
